Our client is seeking a highly skilled ALM and FX Portfolio Manager to join their dynamic team in Makati City. What you'll do:
As an ALM and FX Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the overall and per currency Asset-Liability Management as well as manage the FX Position/s of the Company. You will be focused on identifying the best opportunities and strategies in positioning against the company's reserves. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating closely with the Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and the Investment Associate, ensuring efficient utilization of funds aligned with the Company's investment targets.
- Stay abreast with current events and news affecting the company's portfolio
- Provide outlook to the team and superiors, carrying out strategies agreed with the Head of Investments
- Manage the company's Assets against its Reserves
- Monitor and analyse PnL, Mark-to-Market, duration, and other relevant attributes of the portfolio
- Maintain good relationships with counterparties
- Work closely with Investment Associate in identifying investment opportunities/new investment products
What you bring:
The ideal ALM and FX Portfolio Manager brings a wealth of experience in treasury, liquidity management, asset-liability management along with a deep understanding of financial markets, trends, market dynamics, and overall economic landscape. Your ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external counterparts will be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, your knowledge of portfolio management process will enable you to develop good rapport with counterparty dealers and brokers.
