Our client is on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Manager to lead their overall risk management initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide guidance and oversight at an enterprise level, across various areas including financial risk, data & tech risk, fraud & financial crime risk, and resilience. What you'll do:

As a Senior Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's approach to risk management. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing guidance on an enterprise level, developing robust risk management policies, identifying potential risks, designing effective mitigation strategies, and preparing detailed reports for senior management. You will also be responsible for leading the response to any risk incidents that occur. This role requires a proactive approach to collaboration with various business units to ensure effective risk management practices are in place.

* Develop and maintain appropriate risk management policies and procedures
* Identify and assess risks and their respective impact to business
* Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls
* Prepare regular risk assessment reports for senior management and/or the board
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
* Lead the response to risk incidents, including the development of contingency plans

You have strong knowledge of financial risk management principles, technology risk frameworks, as well as fraud/financial crime and data protection regulations. Your ability to analyse complex data sets to develop actionable insights is second to none. Coupled with your excellent communication skills, you are adept at influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field; Relevant professional certification/s preferred
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management within the financial services sector
* Strong knowledge of financial risk management principles, technology risk frameworks, and fraud/financial crime and data protection regulations
* Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
