Audit Manager

About the Audit Manager Role:
In this essential role, you will lead a team of seasoned auditors in executing internal audit which includes audit planning and execution for the APAC, EMEA and North America region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with senior leaders and executives in evaluating risk areas and ensuring proper allocation of resources to audit these areas
• Lead and guide the auditors and cultivate a culture of teamwork and communication within the audit team
• Supervise all audit engagements and work together with other audit teams in ensuring a proper implementation of a risk-based audit programme
• Manage the performance and compliance of the audit team’s quality service delivery
• Communicate with internal and external regulators and auditors, various risk management committees

To be successful in this Audit Manager position, you must be a senior leader in audit for a reputable multinational financial services company.

Key Requirements:

• Must have at least 15 years' experience and a leader in a multinational financial services company, preferably in funds services or banks
• Knowledge of auditing organisations in the financial services industry
• Strong people management skills. Must be comfortable handling a team of 20-30 people
• Excellent stakeholder management skills - worked with various functional leaders from various jurisdictions
• Experience in a Big 4 auditing firm is an advantage
• Professional certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at least, CIA is a big plus
