About the Audit Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for assisting the division head in reviewing and maintaining the efficiency of the organisation's internal controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the division head in the development of long and short-term risk-based audit plans.
• Develops engagement-specific audit plans and prepares planning documents
• Identifies and allocates tasks, monitors work, controls audit, consolidates results
• Prepares or updates audit programme guides
• Leads audit engagement team/special review.
• Supervises and coaches auditors throughout the audit engagement
• Ensures the timely and effective execution of the audits and other work assigned
• Reviews working papers prepared by the Auditors
• Assesses the unit audited and provides initial audit rating for the unit audited
• Conducts the exit conference of the audit engagement with the audit clients to resolve or clarify audit issues

To succeed in this Audit Manager role, you must have the ability to manage teams effectively and prioritise tasks under pressure.

Key Requirements:

• Five or more years audit experience as an Audit Manager or similar position, preferably in a banking institution and/or external auditing firm
• Expertise in end-to-end risk-based audit methodology, review, reporting and recommendation
• Strong people and influencing skills
• With involvement in PFRS 9/ECL. Preferably handled Model Development for Credit Scores and performed PFRS 9 Model Validation procedures
