About the Audit Officer - Model Validation Role:
In this business critical position, you will conduct and supervise the conduct of regular/spot audit of units indicated in the department’s annual audit work plan and conduct special/fraud investigations as assigned by the section/department head.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the different audit reviews/processes of the audit team are in accordance with sound internal auditing standards such as the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and other supplemental standards issued by the regulatory authorities/government agencies, as well as the relevant code of ethics
• Monitor the implementation and the team’s annual audit plan including regular, spot, and special audits
• Provide recommendations for process or control improvements for the business units

To succeed in this Audit Officer - Model Validation role, you must have in-depth knowledge of end-to-end audit engagements in a reputable bank/financial services company.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant or any equivalent professional certification/s such as CIA, CISA, CFE, etc.
• At least five years of experience in internal audit in the banking industry handling handling treasury, trust, wealth management, derivatives, investment banking, controllership and corporate governance units of the bank
• Experience in model validation and review of ICAAP process
