An emerging Fintech company is looking for an experience Collections Manager. The Collections Manager will work closely with the top management of the organization to build, establish, and oversee collections operations for the Philippines business.

About the Collections Manager role:

The Collections Manager oversees all collection activities within our organization, driving effective strategies to enhance collection processes. This role involves developing and implementing initiatives to streamline collections, resolving customer service issues and disputes, and ensuring precise record-keeping. The Collections Manager will be instrumental in optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and support the organization's financial health.

Job Responsibilities

  • In-charge of managing collections for our new Philippines business
  • Set-up collections department & team
  • Hiring & training of collections staff
  • Create Collections SOP, including Country Regulations, guidelines, Do’s & Don’ts
  • Execute Collections strategies, as and when implemented
  • Meet Monthly KPI’s and Collections Targets
  • Closely collaborate and work with other stakeholders and departments as & when required
  • Update weekly/monthly reviews and reporting to management
  • Incorporate and update industry best practices
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Head of Collections to establish and oversee collections operations for the Philippines business.

To succeed in this Collections Manager role, you must have experience with end-to-end collections operations and building collections processes from ground up. Experience is Fintech is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in Collections at a Managerial level, working in Multi-finance, Lending or banking businesses
  • Experience in handling and managing collections teams. Desk, Field & Agencies
  • Adept at using Google sheets and Microsoft excel
  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be able to communicate in English
