Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated AVP of Credit Services & Portfolio Optimization to lead a diverse team in the financial sector. What you'll do:


As the AVP of Credit Services & Portfolio Optimization, you will play a pivotal role in leading a diverse team covering end-to-end credit onboarding operations. You will be at the forefront of establishing productivity standards, meeting business unit targets, ensuring compliance with credit policies, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding your team towards achieving operational efficiency and improving portfolio quality. Leveraging technology will be key in streamlining processes and improving decision-making accuracy. You will also have the opportunity to shape the professional growth of your team by identifying their training needs and providing them with necessary learning opportunities.


* Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent processing of credit applications while adhering to internal policies and industry regulations.
* Leverage technology and automation tools to streamline onboarding processes and improve decision-making accuracy.
* Implement workforce management strategies to track team productivity and adjust capacity as needed.
* Collaborate across teams to align credit processes with business goals, customer experience, and regulatory standards.
* Lead a high-performing team of credit underwriters, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
* Prepare and review reports for tracking service levels, monitoring productivity, enhancing credit policies and procedures.
* Monitor performance of officers and staff based on productivity and error rates.
* Identify training needs of staff and provide necessary training and workshops.
* Decide on new credit card, personal loans, and credit requests up to assigned approval authority.


What you bring:

With at least 10 years of credit-related work experience under your belt, you have developed a deep understanding of credit policies, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements. * Graduate of any business course
