Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Settlement Reconciliation Team Lead to manage and lead their Operations department. What you'll do:


As a Settlement Reconciliation Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to manage the Operations department in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service standards. You will play a crucial role in attaining a lean structure through automation and process re-engineering. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you review processes to ensure a robust risk control framework. You will also be responsible for achieving satisfactory audit ratings with no regulatory breaches. Your strong interpersonal skills will come into play as you engage actively with both internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives.


* Attain lean and efficient structure through automation and process re-engineering
* Review processes and ensure robust risk and control framework
* Attain satisfactory audit rating with no regulatory breach
* Review and Approve reconciliation of partner and settlements related transactions and timely resolution of any exception.
* Ensure adherence to service level agreements and established procedures
* Support business initiatives through active engagement with both internal and external stakeholders
* Manage operational risk and ensure compliance with both internal and external regulations
* Develop and maximize efficiency of the team
* Manage numerous, complex projects requiring high level capabilities with minimal supervision


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for the Settlement Reconciliation Team Lead position brings a strong financial background along with a deep understanding of settlement reconciliations within consumer banking. Your strong sense of initiative, work ethics, analytical skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, communication skills, decision-making capabilities are key attributes that will help you excel in this role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Management, Financial Management, Economics or other Business-related course is required along with at least 5 years’ experience.
