What you'll do:


As Branch Operations Head, you will be entrusted with overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the branch in Iloilo. Your role will centre on ensuring operational efficiency while upholding rigorous standards of compliance and service quality. You will guide your team through coaching sessions and performance reviews to foster their professional development. By monitoring key performance indicators such as productivity rates and customer experience metrics, you will identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance both efficiency and scalability. Your ability to resolve operational challenges swiftly will be crucial in maintaining client satisfaction. Additionally, you will act as the primary liaison between the branch and central teams—ensuring seamless coordination across departments including Operations, HR, Compliance, IT, Sales, Credit, Risk, and Support. Your commitment to maintaining accurate records will support successful audits and regulatory reviews. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute directly to achieving business targets related to loan processing, collections, disbursements, customer acquisition, and overall branch performance.


* Oversee all aspects of daily branch operations to ensure efficient execution of banking activities while maintaining high standards of service quality.
* Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures, internal controls, and service-level agreements to safeguard the interests of both clients and the organisation.
* Monitor productivity metrics, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction scores to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Resolve operational issues, escalations, and customer concerns promptly with professionalism and empathy to maintain trust and loyalty among clients.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements set by governing bodies as well as internal policies and audit standards.
* Implement risk control measures issued by central teams to minimise operational risks and support a safe banking environment.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for all branch activities in accordance with company guidelines.
* Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews by providing necessary information and facilitating smooth processes.
* Lead, coach, and develop branch staff through regular performance reviews, capability-building sessions, and mentoring to achieve individual and team goals.
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Credit, Risk, and Support teams to optimise end-to-end customer processes and drive business growth.

To excel as Branch Operations Head in Iloilo, you bring extensive experience managing branch operations within banking or financial services environments. Your background includes several years spent supervising teams where you have honed your interpersonal skills through coaching sessions and performance reviews. You possess deep knowledge of operational risk management frameworks which allows you to enforce robust controls that protect both clients’ interests and organisational assets. Your familiarity with regulatory requirements—especially those set forth by BSP—enables you to navigate complex compliance landscapes confidently. You are adept at communicating across multiple departments which helps facilitate smooth coordination between central teams such as HR, Compliance or IT. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy in record-keeping while your integrity guides decision-making processes involving sensitive matters like staffing actions or policy enforcement. Above all else, your results-driven mindset supports achievement of business targets related to loan processing or customer acquisition while nurturing a positive work environment for colleagues.


* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or any related field is required for this position.
* At least five years of proven experience in branch operations within banking or financial services is essential for success.
* Minimum two years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity where you have demonstrated effective people management skills.
* Comprehensive understanding of branch controls including operational risk management frameworks is highly valued.
* Experience working within regulated environments such as banks or lending companies is strongly preferred due to the nature of responsibilities involved.
* Ability to interpret BSP regulations accurately while implementing internal control directives issued by compliance teams is important.
* Exceptional communication skills are needed for stakeholder management across various departments within the organisation.
* High level of integrity combined with attention to detail ensures sound judgment when handling sensitive matters or enforcing policies.
