Risk Officer

About the Risk Officer Role:
In this role, you will effectively manage risks that inhibit the growth and development of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management policies and controls and limits to ensure exposures are well managed
• Assist in the development, review, and updating of policies and procedures for managing particular risk areas
• Keep aware of overall corporate goals and key operating plans to properly group risk assessments
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help develop and drive a sound, open, and proactive risk culture to support management in ensuring key risks are identified, assessed, reported, and managed

To succeed in this Risk Officer job, you must have a solid background in risk management, with experience in implementing processes, tools, and systems to mitigate, measure, and report the bank’s risk.

Key Requirements:

• 3 - 10 years' significant work experience in risk management either in operational, credit, enterprise, market and liquidity risk
• Understanding of complex business processes, risks, and controls in manual and automated environments
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong motivation and personal drive to succeed and the ability to work with considerable autonomy and with a team
