A Head of Risk job has become available for a seasoned risk leader with expertise in credit risk management for a trust or asset management company and has lead a small team covering investment risk and operational risk.

About the Head of Risk Role:
In this role, you will be managing the credit, investment and enterprise-wide risks that inhibit the growth and development of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing operational risk assessment methodology, tools, and risk reporting (RCSA) systems
• Providing guidance to the management regarding credit, operational and investment risk exposures
• Developing risk policies, processes, and procedures in line with the headquarters guidelines
• Establishing a robust risk awareness and provide adequate training and workshops
• Escalating risk incidents to the management

To succeed in this role, you need to be a seasoned credit or operational risk manager from a reputable bank and has been exposed to senior stakeholders. This role will be pivotal in building the risk culture, robust investment risk and accompanying the business in their acquisition of portfolio.

Key Requirements:

• At least 10 years’ experience in operational risk management in a bank or financial services with credit or risk specialisation
• Ability to communicate and liaise with the risk management committee
• Understanding of the BSP landscape in risk management
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
