About the Business Planning Manager Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and management process of the company to ensure the efficient and effective execution of strategic plans, working closely with the business and business owners to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies to support the business growth as well as finalise the target setting for business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares management and strategic decks/presentations for both internal and external consumption
• Works with business and HOD to be involved in strategic partnership negotiations and commercial discussions
• Manages and reviews all settlements/invoices with key partners
• Works closely with business owners to come up with financial projections for all strategic initiatives which will tie back to the overall P&L and balance sheet
• Periodically assesses and reports market trends and competitors to determine the relevant strategies for the bank Produce and review research output on investment strategies and products
• Monitors and reports on strategic projects as well as support senior management in the decision-making process
• Identifies and drives business efficiency opportunities and cost reduction initiatives across the bank to ensure achievement of committed financial targets and sustainability for the bank

To succeed in this Business Planning Manager role, you must have experience in finance, analytics, product management and project management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any equivalent degree
• At least three years of relevant experience in the banking industry
• Experience in finance, analytics, product management and project management
  
• Consumer banking experience is preferred
