An exciting Compensation and Benefits Specialist - Total Rewards job has opened up at a financial services firm.

About the Compensation and Benefits Specialist - Total Rewards Role:
In this role, you will be part of the Global Total Rewards and Compensation team in Manila who support in the tracking and managing of long-term incentives of global employees. You will be in charge in the administration of entry share, share and option, and MCP.

Key Responsibilities:
Entry share administration

  • Responsible for the monthly allocation of entry shares to new joiners including preparation and dispatch of entry share agreement
  • Conducts personal stock brokerage account opening on behalf of employees and transfer of the allocated shares
  • Handles transfer of newly allocated shares to the account of employees and transfer of shares after restriction period
  • Informs local payroll on vesting information on a monthly basis to reflect in payroll
  • Handle the entry shares for employees leaving the company including transfer, correspondence, and booking forfeitures of entry shares

Share and option administration

  • Monthly booking of forfeitures on shares and options, abacus of share, and options transactions receive
  • Create SIX Report, monthly reconciliation with finance on custody account 75-7 and 75-9, and monthly calculation of split taxation for mobile employees
  • Prepare instruction for local payrolls
  • Track tax liabilities and release of blocked proceeds
  • Supports vesting events and booking of annual share allocations

MCP administration

  • Handles monthly booking of forfeitures on MCP
  • Responsible for issuance and control of non-compete agreements at vesting/or linear vesting
  • Support the booking of payments and creation of mobile calculations

To succeed in this Compensation and Benefits Specialist role, you will need at least two years' experience in accounting.

Key Requirements:

  • College or university degree and/or relevant work experience in total rewards and compensation
  • Minimum of two years' experience
  • Ability to work independently and has a good financial background
  • Background in taxation is a plus
