Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Payroll Lead to join their dynamic team.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee and approve payroll files, ensuring timely execution while meeting all service level agreements and key performance indicators consistently. The successful candidate will have the chance to drive continuous improvement in payroll processes through automation and data sharing with third-party providers. As the point of escalation for any payroll-related issues, you'll be at the heart of maintaining high standards of compliance and accurate HR records in line with Data Protection legislation and company policies.

What you'll do:

As a Global Payroll Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire payroll process. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing and approving payroll files to ensure their timely execution. You will also be responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees within your department. Your commitment to driving continuous improvement will be crucial as you work towards automating payroll data collection, collation, and sharing with third-party providers. In addition to these responsibilities, you will act as the point of escalation for any subject matter expert related to payroll issues. Your leadership skills will be put to good use as you lead internal/external audits, ensuring completeness of monthly SOX controls & delivering data relating to compliance processes and payroll performance.

  • Reviewing and approving payroll files for timely execution
  • Recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees within the payroll department
  • Driving continuous improvement by automating payroll data collection, collation, and sharing with third-party providers
  • Ensuring accurate and timely execution of payroll
  • Acting as the point of escalation for any subject matter expert related to payroll issues
  • Leading internal/external audits, ensuring completeness of monthly SOX controls & delivering data relating to compliance processes and payroll performance
  • Setting the governance of high standards of compliance, ensuring the maintenance of accurate employee and HR records in line with Data Protection legislation and company policies

You possess strong knowledge of payroll systems and are adept at implementing automation processes. Your excellent understanding of compliance processes and SOX controls will be crucial in this role. You have a proven track record of handling sensitive information with discretion and are experienced in leading internal/external audits. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate effectively within your team and act as the point of escalation for any payroll-related issues.
