An exciting HR Business Partner job opportunity has become available at a leading oil and gas company in Ortigas. The HR Business Partner role will coordinate with HR and business roles to provide professional HR counsel regarding talent management, organisational development and employee relations.

About the HR Business Partner Role:
The HR Business Partner will work with talent management, organisational development, employee relations, and business partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the performance review process for probationary and regular employees including the management of remedial activities to address any unsatisfactory employee performance
  • Ensures the effective implementation and management of programmes that aim to build/develop the core, technical/functional, and leadership competencies of employees across all levels
  • Conducts organisational review activities to determine the alignment and relevance of the existing structure, roles, and headcount composition and to execute ongoing and future business strategies and performance objectives
  • Collaborates with department managers/heads in the completion of talent review activities to identify high-potential talents, and to design and implement competency-based development plans that will build their readiness to assume critical roles in the organisation
  • Works with department managers/heads in diagnosing and resolving concerns that impact organisational and/or talent health in relation to various HR-related metrics such as capability, productivity, retention, role vulnerabilities, etc.
  • Contributes to the creation, review, and/or updating of relevant policies, guidelines, procedures, forms, templates, and references being implemented and managed by the team

To succeed in this HR Business Partner role, you must have experience as an HR Business Partner, and proven track record of career progression in the field of HR.

Key Requirement:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources, business, management or psychology
  • At least five years of progressive HRBP leadership experience in HR generalist functions, employee relations and other related HR functions
  • Extensive knowledge in organisational planning and development, employee relations, and preventive labour relations
  • Experience coaching and consulting team leaders and managers with demonstrated record of problem solving and organisational development diagnosis skills
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
