About the HR Communications Expert (Internal and External) Role: The HR Communication Expert must should be skilled in communication, writing, and presentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing marketing communications strategy and programmes for internal and external communications (includes PR, advertising, and employer branding). The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR marketing communication, exceptional writing skills, and a proven track record of developing effective communication campaigns and announcements. In addition to this, the candidate must have full understanding of the target market and the industry to develop customised communications in coordination with the different stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement internal communication strategies that support HR initiatives, programs, and policies
Oversee communications spend and working with vendors and agencies to create communications and marketing activities and develop supporting assets
Collaborate with HR teams to identify and prioritise communication needs and objectives
Write and edit HR-related content for various channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, and social media
Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of content
Develop and implement employee engagement campaigns that align with HR objectives
Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all internal communication channels
Monitoring effectiveness of various campaigns and course corrections as required
Analyse and measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and provide recommendations for improvement
Provide support to HR teams on communication-related matters, including change management, crisis communication, and employee relations
To succeed in this HR Communications Expert (Internal and External) role, you must be well organised, have great communication and writing skills, and have good working relationship with the team.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, Human Resource Management or any related field
Six to eight years of combined experience in internal HR and external marketing communications
Background handling external communications for an extensive period of time is preferred
Experience in the shared services industry is required
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies that support business objectives
Experience in managing communication campaigns, including editorial calendars and content creation
Skilled in Employer Branding
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide recommendations for improvement
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management systems
Background in conceptualising and executing employee events to post-event analysis
Proficiency in any social media platform (content creation, boosting, etc) and communication and design tools (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
