About the HR Director (HR Site Lead - Tech Company) Role: The HR Director (HR Site Lead - Tech Company) will be reporting directly to the HR Vice President for APAC, providing both strategic and tactical Human Resources (HR) thought leadership to the Site. In partnership with the local leadership team and supporting HR functions, the HR Director is responsible for the development of the overall people strategy for the site; formulating and executing specific programmes with the support of their direct reporting team.
Provide leadership, direction and coaching to senior leaders and managers in all disciplines of HR (e.g., talent acquisition, total rewards, organisational development, learning and development, performance management, coaching and employee relations)
Collaborate with senior leaders to understand their talent challenges
Use data analytics to provide insights and drive decisions
Communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation with the ability to influence appropriately
Develop, implement, and ensure consistent application of HR strategies, guidelines, and programmes
Lead HR team in the execution of the site HR strategy
Develop and support communication and change management strategies to meet the needs of an evolving site
Share in the ultimate responsibility for creating a great place to work, through organisational development, continuous improvement, employee engagement and culture initiatives
Create and implement internal HR standards for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function
Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding HR and ensures compliance with all federal and local statutes involving employment
Demonstrate honesty, high integrity, responsibility and fulfil commitments
Travel both domestically and internationally
To be successful in this HR Director (HR Site Lead - Tech Company) role, you must be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with the wider HR team and cross-functional relationships within APAC.
Demonstrated ability to understand and promote the linkage between business and operational priorities and HR activities
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Site HR strategies for 500 or more employees
Relevant HR Leadership experience with 10 or more years in a people manager role, including experience in managing their team’s career development
Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective analytical and reporting skills (HRIS) and attention to detail
Experience within a matrixed environment
Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers
Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
Demonstrated usage of change management techniques in a business setting
Strong organisational re-design capabilities
Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency
