About the HR People Advisor Role:
The HR People Advisor role oversees the day-to-day HR inquiries and employee activities logged in the internal system via employee portal. The role will serve as the main point of contact for employees and HR staff, providing expert guidance and resolving HR-related cases and tickets efficiently using the Workday System. This position demands strong HR knowledge, technical proficiency, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and issues, especially those concerning the Workday System
• Effectively manage and resolve HR cases/tickets submitted by employees, HR staff, and other stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for Workday System-related problems and errors
• Maintain a deep understanding of the Workday System's functionalities, configurations, and updates
• Stay up to date with the latest HR Workday trends and best practices
• Provide training and guidance to HR staff and end-users on using the Workday System effectively
• Offer exceptional customer service to employees seeking assistance with HR processes, system navigation, and issue resolution
• Communicate HR policies, procedures, and guidelines clearly to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure data integrity within the Workday System
• Monitor and audit HR data to identify and correct discrepancies promptly
• Identify opportunities for process improvements related to the Workday System and HR operations
• Suggest enhancements to streamline HR workflows and optimise system performance
• Generate reports and provide data analytics related to HR cases and ticket trends
• Assist in creating custom reports to support HR decision-making processes
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies when handling HR data
• Maintain detailed records of case/ticket resolutions and provide reports as needed

To succeed in this HR People Advisor role, you must be passionate about making a difference in the HR landscape, ability to solve complex cases, and have good working relationships with the team.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least five years of work experience in an HR shared services environment
• Background in a benefits function is a plus
• Proven experience as an HR People Advisor or in a similar HR support role
• In-depth knowledge of the HR Workday System, including configurations, security, and reporting
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Relevant HR certifications (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR, Workday certifications) is a plus
