Job Summary
The Head of Human Resources (HR) will be based in Makati City, Metro Manila, and offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of strategic HR leadership, driving transformation, and future-proofing talent within a dynamic and supportive environment. Collaborating with regional and global teams, influencing business direction, and championing initiatives that foster growth, inclusivity, and shared success, you will be acting as a strategic partner to senior management and representing the local branch in regional HR leadership, and drive organisational development by implementing global and regional HR strategies, supporting business objectives, and promoting continuous improvement across all HR disciplines.
What you'll do:
As a Head of Human Resources (HR), you will play a pivotal role in steering the direction of the branch’s people strategy. You will involve collaborating with both local and international colleagues to ensure seamless integration of global policies while tailoring them to meet local requirements. You will be entrusted with managing stakeholder relationships at every level, internally with senior leaders and externally with vendors or regulatory bodies, to deliver best-in-class HR services.
- Develop, implement, and lead the local HR strategy to ensure alignment with overall business goals and support long-term organisational success.
- Collaborate closely with regional HR leaders across multiple countries to integrate global initiatives into local practices while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide country-specific insights to inform global human capital planning and contribute to shaping effective HR solutions that address business needs.
- Drive transformation by adopting new operating models, fostering positive change within the HR team, and ensuring safety and soundness throughout all processes.
- Manage budgets efficiently by delivering cost-effective HR services while monitoring financial targets for the branch.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners including service vendors, unions, and industry bodies to ensure quality service delivery.
- Offer strategic guidance to senior management on complex HR matters such as policy interpretation, salary proposals, performance management, and employee relations.
- Lead objective setting, performance management, coaching, career progression, training initiatives, and reward decisions for all members of the Branch HR team.
- Oversee annual HR processes including compensation review, talent management programmes, employee engagement activities, and organisational change initiatives.
- Monitor risks related to HR operations by assessing gaps in policies or procedures and proposing effective mitigating measures to protect organisational interests.
