Scope of Role:
The role of HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders and managers in the business to ensure HR strategies and initiatives support organisational success. The operating model of the HR function is dynamic and composed of the Centre’s of Expertise, HR Shared Services and Business Partnering.
The role will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and work closely with the wider HR teams and regional business leaders who are involved in the strategic goals of RW. This role will be responsible for shaping organizational culture and driving performance initiatives. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring the Human Resources Advisors and Administrators to support the implementation of people strategy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategy, Change and Stakeholder Management:
- Work with the CoE ensuring policies and procedures are kept up to date and reviewed frequently.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders on any organisational change related projects and provide necessary data and solutions when needed.
- Lead the implementation of solutions for restructuring, including any TUPE processes (UK specific)
- Recognise trends in the business and identify areas of success and improvement using data and insight.
- Collaborate with wider HR teams to deliver People Plans, gain an understanding of other regions and how they operate to improve current processes.
Employee Relations:
- Deliver exceptional employee relations experience, balancing the commercial and operational needs of the business, with local employment requirements.
- Support employee relations -based issues. This includes conducting investigations from time to time, such as disciplinaries, grievances and appeals, ensuring that impartial advice is given to both parties in line with business policies and local employment law.
- Coach line managers in getting the best from their teams and how to incorporate HR goals into daily activity
HR Leadership and Collaboration:
- Manage and support team members to effectively deliver a consistent HR service across the business.
- Coach members of the team and provide training, development and mentoring to drive better performance.
- Liaise with functions such as Legal and Finance where required, to ensure processes and ways of working are joined up.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Qualified as a HR professional.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Experience advising on performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and general employee relations issues.
- Great creative thinking, and problem-solving skills to provide unbiased solutions.
- Good understanding of local employment legislation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience of building effective relationships.
- Proven experience in implementing organisational and structure change.
- Proficient in software such as Microsoft and ideally knowledge of HRIS D365 and PowerBI.
