Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead and manage their HR operations. This role is pivotal in fostering a productive and high-performing workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s HR systems and processes. This includes overseeing all HR operations such as recruitment, talent pool management, administrative support, and the execution of yearly performance evaluations.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's culture and operations. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of HR management - from recruitment strategies to policy development. You will be instrumental in building a robust talent pool that aligns with our strategic goals. Your expertise in HR policies will ensure our compliance with labour laws. You will also manage administrative functions like travel requests while maintaining professionalism at our executive office reception. Your leadership will be key in driving initiatives that improve employee engagement.

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent aligned with the company’s strategic goals
  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job description creation, posting, interviewing, and final selection of candidates
  • Establish and monitor a structured probationary evaluation system to assess new hires’ performance
  • Build and maintain a talent pool to support succession planning and business continuity
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labour laws
  • Manage all travel requests, ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Oversee reception operations at the executive office to ensure professionalism
  • Design, manage, and oversee the annual performance appraisal process
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior management, contributing to organisational planning
  • Implement rewards and recognition programs to boost employee engagement

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Head of Human Resources position, you bring a wealth of experience in human resources management. With your educational background in human resources or a related field coupled with your extensive experience in HR leadership roles, you are well-equipped to handle the demands of this role. Your proven expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management will be invaluable in attracting and retaining top talent. Your strong understanding of HR policies, labour laws, and compliance will ensure our operations align with industry standards. Your excellent organisational skills and proficiency in HR software and tools will streamline our HR processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (master’s degree preferred)
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience with 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, labour laws, and compliance
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Effective communication abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools
