Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Offshore HR Manager to oversee the end-to-end HR operations for their employees in the Philippines and Australia. This is an individual contributor role, with full remote arrangement.

What you'll do:

As an Offshore HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the HR operations for our client's employees in the Philippines and Australia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing payroll computation approval, handling general affairs, managing recruitment processes, labour relations, company budgeting, as well as implementing talent management strategies and policies. You will also ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding processes for employees while managing compensation benefits and HR operations.

  • Develop initiatives to improve workplace culture, enhance employee satisfaction, and increase long-term retention.
  • Develop and execute programs for employee development, succession planning, and performance management to align with business goals.
  • Ensure HR-related expenses align with financial plans while optimizing workforce costs and managing budgets effectively.
  • Ensure seamless employee transitions, ensuring smooth integration and exits throughout the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Handle daily HR functions, including policy implementation, employee support, and general workplace administration.
  • Manage labor relations, ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies in both the Philippines and Australia.
  • Oversee salary structures, benefits programs, and payroll approvals to ensure compliance and fairness in compensation.
  • Supervise hiring strategies, job postings, and candidate selection to meet organizational needs and objectives.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Offshore HR Manager role brings 3-5 years of experience in the Freight/Shipping/Logistics industry. Your fluency in English will enable you to report directly to the Executive Management. You have proven abilities in managing payroll computation approval, general affairs, end-to-end HR management including recruitment, labour relations, company budgeting. Your strong skills in talent management and policy implementation will be key to your success in this role.

  • 3-5 years of experience with the HR operational demands of the Freight, Shipping, or Logistics sectors, bringing a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific HR needs.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, with the ability to effectively engage with executive management and communicate across various stakeholders and regions.

  • Familiarity with HR operations for employees in both the Philippines and Australia, with a strong grasp of local practices, legal requirements, and cultural dynamics.

  • In-depth experience in recruitment, labor relations, company budgeting, performance management, and employee relations, handling processes from onboarding to offboarding.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements specific to both the Philippines and Australia, ensuring alignment with legal frameworks and industry standards.

  • Skilled in designing and executing talent management programs, driving employee engagement, and aligning HR policies with organizational objectives.

  • Skilled in managing payroll computations and general administrative functions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

  • Strong capability to collaborate with diverse teams, influence stakeholders, and provide HR leadership that enhances organizational culture and operational efficiency.
