Our client is in search of a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead the daily operations of their HR department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage recruitment processes, maintain accurate employee records, facilitate employee training and development, handle payroll, and monitor attendance and leave.

The successful candidate will also conduct performance reviews, oversee compensation and benefits, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and shape a positive company culture. This role provides a platform for professional growth within a supportive environment.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's culture while ensuring smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of HR management, from overseeing recruitment processes to conducting performance reviews. You will be instrumental in maintaining employee records, facilitating training programs, handling payroll, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your ability to plan and execute HR strategies aligned with company policies will be crucial in this role.

  • Conduct performance reviews and appraisals to assess and enhance employee productivity.
  • Ensure company compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Facilitate necessary training and development programs for the organization.
  • Handle payroll processing, including monitoring attendance and leave.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Manage the recruitment process and oversee the preparation of employment contracts.
  • Oversee and review compensation and benefits for employees.
  • Oversee employees and daily operations of the human resources department.
  • Plan and execute human resources strategies and recruitment plans in line with company policies.
  • Shape and maintain company culture to foster a positive work environment.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Manager position brings extensive experience in HR or related fields along with strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to connect effectively with stakeholders, promoting a professional environment. Your strong organizational skills coupled with critical thinking abilities will aid in making sound judgements. Experience working with Japanese companies would be an added advantage.

  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking abilities to make sound judgments and strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster a professional and collaborative work environment.
  • Experience in engineering or consultancy is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple HR functions effectively.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Ortigas.
