Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic FINRA Certified Trainer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create an engaging learning environment for new hires in the Participant Services Call Centre.

The successful candidate will utilise their call-taking experience and training materials to facilitate an interactive learning environment, both in person and in virtual classroom settings. What you'll do:

As a FINRA Certified Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Participant Services Call Centre. You will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that prepares new hires to take calls confidently. Your expertise in adult learning theory will be crucial in facilitating high-impact, interactive sessions that cater to different learning styles. You will also work closely with call centre managers, providing valuable input into the development of our learning curriculum. Your ability to track new hire performance and provide constructive feedback will contribute significantly to our continuous improvement efforts.

  • Develop professional relationships with call centre managers to ensure collaboration around new hire performance
  • Provide input for development and implement learning curriculum consistent with current trends and best practices
  • Facilitate learning solutions in alignment with adult learning theory
  • Track new hire performance during classroom time using the New Hire Weekly Report
  • Communicate effectively with subject matter experts, business partners, and design team
  • Manage project resources (people and material) to ensure deliverables are completed in scope and on schedule
  • Assume responsibility for ongoing development, researching industry standards and best practices
  • Partner with Call Centre to keep informed of process changes, quality standards, and other changes
  • Recommend disciplinary action for new hires in training in conjunction with management team

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this FINRA Certified Trainer position brings a wealth of practical business experience, particularly within a call centre setting. You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Your FINRA 6 registrations should be up-to-date and in line with corporate-established timelines. Your strong motivational and interpersonal skills will enable you to connect with new hires and foster an engaging learning environment. Your ability to work both independently and within a team will be crucial in this role.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • FINRA 6 registrations required within corporate-established timelines
  • 3-5 years of practical business experience and call experience
  • Intermediate skill level MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience in adult learning and previous training experience preferred
  • Strong motivational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
