The Sales Executive will play a key role in supporting our Global Sales Team across EMEA, APAC, and the US by contributing to client outreach, lead qualification, client and market research, and sales reporting. This role is critical in ensuring the success of multiple business lines within the Robert Walters Group by maintaining a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities and providing valuable insights to drive sales strategies.

As part of a dynamic global team, the Sales Executive will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to enhance sales effectiveness while identifying areas for process and technology improvement. Given the global nature of this role, shift work may be required to support teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Global Sales Team Support

  • Collaborate with a global sales team based in EMEA, APAC, and the US to support their efforts in client outreach, lead qualification, and market research.
  • Provide high-quality sales reporting and insights to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
  • Work across multiple business lines within the Robert Walters Group, adapting to varying priorities and needs.

Client & Market Research

  • Conduct detailed research on clients, industries, and markets to provide actionable insights that support sales campaigns.
  • Analyze trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and refine approaches.
  • Stay up-to-date on marketing content, sales messaging, and current market trends while proposing innovative ideas for growth.

Outreach & Lead Qualification

  • Support targeted outreach efforts by engaging with prospective clients through email, phone calls, LinkedIn tools (e.g., Sales Navigator), and other channels.
  • Qualify leads effectively to ensure they align with business objectives before passing them on to the sales team.

AI & Process Improvement

  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance data analysis capabilities.
  • Identify areas for process improvement or tech adoption that can drive better outcomes for the sales team.

Activity Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of all activities in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other relevant systems.
  • Use data insights from reporting tools to track progress against goals and recommend adjustments where needed.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Internal: Regularly liaise with Robert Walters teams and the wider Robert Walters Group to ensure all potential angles for client introductions are explored.
  • External: Conduct targeted business development into prospective clients via various channels while attending meetings alongside the Sales Director when required.

Other Responsibilities: The role may require additional duties reasonably within the scope of this position as needed. The responsibilities outlined above may evolve over time in line with organizational needs.

What you will bring

  • Experience: 2+ years in a sales support, business development, or client-facing role. Experience working with global teams is a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), LinkedIn tools (e.g., Sales Navigator), and AI-driven technologies. Ability to identify opportunities for tech-enabled improvements is essential.
  • Self-Starter: A proactive individual who takes ownership of tasks and drives them forward independently while collaborating effectively with others.
  • Growth Mindset: Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills or approaches to improve performance continuously.
  • People Skills: Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships internally and externally across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct thorough research on clients/markets and translate findings into actionable insights for the sales team.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
