About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join our Candidate Sourcing Team. In this role, you will support our offshore recruitment operations particularly the Robert Walters Japan business by identifying, engaging, and qualifying top talent through various sourcing channels.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong talent pipelines to meet ongoing hiring needs. You will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies, conducting CV screenings and phone interviews, and ensuring a seamless handoff of qualified candidates to the recruitment team.


Reporting to the Sourcing Team Lead or Sourcing Team Manager, and working closely with Japan-based recruiters, you will contribute to operational excellence by supporting scalable sourcing processes, enhancing candidate engagement,
and ensuring efficient interview coordination. Your work will drive high-quality sourcing outcomes and help strengthen the overall recruitment workflow across the organization.

Key Requirement & Personal Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident in engaging with multiple candidates over the phone on a daily basis.
  • KPI-driven with a strong commitment to meeting sourcing targets and performance goals.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of information accurately.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS) is an advantage.
  • Able to manage large volumes of information and multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with global teams.
  • Experience in candidate sourcing or recruitment is a plus, though not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify qualified candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and other relevant job portals.
  • Proactively seek and review referrals from candidates, evaluating each referral and submitting qualified
  • candidates to the appropriate recruiters.
  • Reconnect and engage existing candidates from the database through targeted outreach and phone
  • screenings.
  • Screen candidates’ CVs to assess suitability for open positions.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews with consultants and maintain smooth communication with stakeholders in
  • Japan.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records and sourcing activity logs.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs related to sourcing performance, pipeline quality, and outreach volume.
