Our client is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation, where you will be responsible for the full life cycle recruitment process for roles at various levels within the company.You will have the chance to build and enhance the company's employment brand, interact with hiring managers and candidates, and support the Talent Acquisition function.

This role requires a proactive individual who can anticipate hiring needs, develop strategic workforce plans, and maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's team. Your primary responsibility will be managing the full life cycle recruitment process for roles at various levels within the organisation. This includes everything from developing new candidate sources to making offers to top qualified candidates. You'll also be expected to proactively consult with all levels of management regarding staffing strategy and requirements. Your ability to initiate and maintain communications with hiring managers and candidates will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, you'll assist with resolving escalations under the guidance of HR Leadership.

  • Manage staffing needs as required
  • Perform a full range of recruiting functions including recruitment and seek out candidates using advanced sourcing techniques and resources
  • Develop new candidate sources, including networks, referrals, and outreach programs
  • Screen candidates to develop a 'short list' of top qualified candidates using behavioural interviewing techniques and other methods/tools
  • Make offers to candidates following internal policies and practices
  • Proactively consult with all levels of management regarding staffing strategy and requirements
  • Initiate and maintain communications with hiring managers and candidates
  • Maintain and facilitate service level agreements with clients; deliver service to meet or exceed those agreements
  • Assist with resolutions of escalations under the guidance of HR Leadership (hard to fill requisitions, vendor issues, background checks, etc)
  • Serve as department subject matter expert concerning the use and enhancement of recruiting systems

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist role will bring a wealth of staffing, recruitment and/or combined HR experience to the table. With a minimum of 7 years in the field, you'll have demonstrated your ability to present new recruiting concepts to hiring managers and get buy-in to continually improve recruiting processes and outcomes. Your strong initiative, solid judgment abilities/skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities will be key in this role. Additionally, your highly developed relationship building skills, exceptional customer focus, coaching and teamwork skills as well as ability to be flexible and adaptable will set you apart.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of staffing, recruitment and/or combined HR experience, including experience in recruiting for all levels of roles including management
  • Demonstrated ability to present new recruiting concepts to hiring managers, get buy-in to continually improve recruiting processes and outcomes
  • Able to demonstrate strong initiative, solid judgment abilities/skills, manage multiple priorities
  • Highly developed relationship building skills
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer focus, coaching and teamwork skills as well as ability to be flexible and adaptable
