As a Senior Recruitment Manager, you will be at the forefront of talent acquisition, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's team. You will manage staffing needs, develop new candidate sources, screen potential hires, make job offers, and maintain communication with hiring managers and candidates. Your ability to proactively consult with all levels of management regarding staffing strategy will be crucial in this role. You will also assist with resolving escalations under the guidance of HR Leadership. This role requires a high level of commitment, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of recruitment processes.
- Manage staffing needs as required and perform a full range of recruiting functions
- Develop new candidate sources, including networks, referrals, and outreach programs
- Screen candidates to develop a 'short list' of top qualified candidates using behavioural interviewing techniques and other methods/tools
- Make offers to candidates following internal policies and practices
- Proactively consult with all levels of management regarding staffing strategy and requirements
- Initiate and maintain communications with hiring managers and candidates
- Maintain and facilitate service level agreements with clients; deliver service to meet or exceed those agreements
- Assist with resolutions of escalations under the guidance of HR Leadership
- Lead the full life cycle recruitment process for roles at various levels
- Build on the company's employment brand and interact with hiring managers and candidates
- Support the Talent Acquisition function and contribute to strategic workforce planning
What you bring:
The ideal Senior Recruitment Manager will bring a wealth of experience in staffing, recruitment, or combined HR roles. With at least seven years in the field, you are adept at managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer focus. Your ability to present new recruiting concepts to hiring managers and get buy-in to continually improve recruiting processes and outcomes sets you apart. Your strong initiative, solid judgement abilities, and highly developed relationship building skills will be key in this role. You are flexible, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of staffing, recruitment and/or combined HR experience
- Experience in recruiting for all levels of roles including management
- Ability to present new recruiting concepts to hiring managers
- Strong initiative, solid judgment abilities/skills, ability to manage multiple priorities
- Highly developed relationship building skills
- Exceptional customer focus, coaching and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
