About the Country Sales Manager (Heavy Equipment) Role: In this role, you will be responsible for business development, channel development and sales growth in Philippines for the company's heavy equipment product range, managing the dealer channel, investigating market opportunities for road building and mineral processing products, growing dealer capabilities, building customer relationships and network, working with dealers for generating credible leads and closing sales opportunities.
Develop dealer channels
Retain good relationships with existing customers and approach to new customers along with dealer
Gain more market information and enquiries from the responsible area
Create products awareness in the responsible area
Be responsible for sales targets through dealer channel as per assignment
Coordinate and provide any support with other staff for smoothness in working process
Work closely with intercompany teams in Germany, Singapore and other places for various business matters, may require calls outside normal working hours to manage time zones
Others in sales area as assigned by Regional Managing Director
To be successful in this Country Sales Manager (Heavy Equipment) role, you must have similar exposure in start up companies (setting up office, processes, etc.) and can work individually while setting up PH office and eventually build a team in the future. You should have proven skills to manage dealer relationship and strong negotiation skills on complex business matters maintaining dealer relationship, developing dealer organisations for sustainable business growth.
Should have proven successful sales and dealer management experience in the road building (primary) and mineral processing (secondary) equipment industry and active customer network in Philippines (contractors, quarries, large construction companies, etc.)
Proficient in English and local Filipino language (Tagalog)
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
Must be able to travel about 75% of the time in Philippines, as per business needs. May require two to three international trips annually to Thailand, Singapore and Germany
Must be knowledgeable in road building and mineral processing products understanding the key selling drivers, retail and wholesale financing concepts and value selling drivers for heavy equipment specialised business
