Our client is seeking a Sales Manager at the Director level to join their team in the Philippines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and lead sales strategies within the fire detection industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with partners, end customers, and engineering companies.

They will also coordinate product trainings and certifications, monitor payments and credit limits, and contribute to high customer satisfaction. This role requires a communicative and outgoing personality with excellent presentation skills.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager at the Director level, you will have the opportunity to actively shape the business landscape in your assigned region within the fire detection industry. You will be responsible for achieving turnover targets, profitability goals, and other key performance indicators. Your role will involve building and nurturing relationships with various stakeholders including fire detection partners, engineering companies, and end customers. You will also play a crucial role in promoting brand awareness, coordinating product trainings, monitoring financial transactions, contributing to customer satisfaction, and organising local trade fairs.

  • Actively and independently develop the assigned region in a business sense ensuring targets are achieved
  • Maintain and develop a network of fire detection partners such as installers, system integrators, distributors
  • Develop relationships with engineering companies and end customers
  • Promote awareness of the brand
  • Coordinate product trainings with technical support
  • Monitor incoming payments and sales partners’ credit limits
  • Contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Organise local trade fairs with the support of the Marketing Department

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the fire detection industry. With over five years' experience in a similar role, you understand what it takes to succeed. You have excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus), which you use to build strong relationships with partners and customers alike. Your background includes further training in sales beyond your Bachelor's degree or equivalent education. You're known for your outgoing personality and exceptional presentation skills. Additionally, you have proven experience in customer acquisition and a strong understanding of legal obligations, standards, and provisions.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education with further training in sales
  • Over 5 years’ experience as Sales Manager in the fire detection industry
  • Good level of proficiency in written and spoken English; other foreign languages are an advantage
  • Communicative and outgoing personality with very good presentation skills
  • Experience in customer acquisition
  • Ability to comply with legal obligations, standards and provisions
