Our client is seeking a seasoned Demand Planning Head to take charge of the planning and control of their product range.
This role is pivotal in achieving a healthy stock flow, good inventory management, and profitable margins. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing annual brand plans, forecasting sales, analysing historical sales data, and training junior staff. This position is based in Makati and offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:
As the Demand Planning Head, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's product range. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare the annual brand plan that aligns with the company's financial direction. You will also be tasked with forecasting sales, inventory, and buying at an article level through rolling forecasts. Your analytical skills will come into play as you review historical sales data by attributes and size to provide accurate recommendations to the Merchandising Team. Additionally, you will participate in weekly brand meetings where you will help resolve any arising issues.
- Prepare brand annual MPLAN aligning with company financial directions
- Forecast sales, inventory, and buying at article level through rolling forecast
- Analyse historical sales by attributes and size for correct recommendations to Merchandising Team
- Review Buying Plan to ensure proper depth and breadth
- Participate in Weekly Brand Meeting to discuss and resolve issues
- Prepare Adhoc Analysis related to Merchandising
- Monitor incoming goods (GR) and Review the allocation
- Determine brand potential problem, evaluate SKU’s performance, In season sell through and margin
- Train Junior Merchandise Planning Staffs to improve their Merchandising Planning and Forecasting Skills
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Demand Planning Head role brings more than 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within retail or merchandising sectors. You are comfortable working with large volumes of data and have excellent Excel skills. Familiarity with SQL is a must for this role. Proficiency in English along with good interpersonal skills are essential as you will be interacting with various teams within the organisation.
