An exciting Project Manager (Construction) job opportunity has become available at a fashion retail company based in Philippines. This is a managerial individual contributor role, where you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the construction activities.
About the Project Manager (Construction) Role: In this role you will be working with diverse group of individuals. As the Project Manager (Construction), you will be responsible for supervising and managing store development and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all incoming store projects (new, relocations, refurbishments), evaluate, and resolve feasibility and design optimisation
Manage material ordering process, construction, administration, and budgets
Conduct comprehensive site analysis and draft preliminary layout plans ensuring design and lay-out in line with global guidelines and principles
Ensure that all in country, including distributor within the country have up-to-date information on all current store concepts, design guidelines and principles
Work closely with internal stakeholders to determine the best way forward to ensure the design incorporates the company’s Retail Standards, including SKU capacity vs sales plan
Work closely with the team for customisation to new design and build, make revisions and modifications as needed
Frequent, effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Make improvements on existing processes and establishing new processes to allow project scaling and adaptations
Make improvements on existing properties including its equipment, facilities and fit out
Evaluate and provide feedback on incoming store projects, including lay-out and timelines – ensuring design and lay-out in line with global guidelines and principles
Support countries on order placement and shipment coordination with key fixture suppliers
Maintain and manage store databases – ensure and provide accurate and timely information to the senior management
Ensure up-to-date information countries and distributors on store formats, fixture lists, price lists and order and delivery process
Maintain library of installation guides and fixture components for all existing and active store concepts
Frequently conduct site visits to provide guidance and support prior to store opening
To be successful in this Project Manager (Construction) role you must have the ability to produce work in a a pivotal role in driving the success of the company’s admin and facilities department and enhancing overall guest and employee satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma
Must be proficient in MS Office
Auto-CAD and design software experience
Four to five years of experience in a similar role in project management from architect, design, or construction with a focus on retail
Language skills: Being bilingual/multilingual is a plus
Fluency in English is a must
Experience handling building permits, contractors, purchasing of raw materials for construction are needed
Preferably someone with experience in opening Retail stores, and best candidates who has handled fashion stores opening before
