An exciting Head of Asset Operation job opportunity has become available at a renewable company based in the Philippines. This is a managerial role, where in you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s engineering, project implementation, project reporting, performance analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance programming, and collaborating with the internal financial group to support their external and internal analysis.

About the Head of Asset Operation Role:
In this role you will be working with a diverse group of individuals. As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering and design, project implementation, and operations and maintenance department
• Manage the operations and maintenance of solar and other renewable energy assets, aiming to maximise total returns through efficiency analysis and identifying performance improvement opportunities
• Review performance reports and project-specific data, proactively addressing issues and taking actions to enhance overall performance
• Foster positive relationships with stakeholders in solar projects, such as property owners
• Deliver timely work products to facilitate asset management and reporting
• Collaborate with the finance and accounting department to ensure accurate customer billing and promptly resolve any billing-related issues
• Play a key role in developing an asset compliance calendar, and diligently monitor and manage compliance across all contracts and activities

To be successful in this Head of Asset Operation role, you must have the ability to produce work in a pivotal role in driving the success of the company.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/college degree in engineering or a relevant field
• Over 15 years of experience in power and renewable energy projects, with a prerequisite of solar power knowledge (utility-scale and rooftop)
• 10 years of experience in handling renewable assets or facilities management
• Highly advantageous to have relevant experience in operation and maintenance management of renewable generation assets
• Strong analytical skills, including experience in budget preparation and management
• Technical understanding of solar generation and energy storage
• Familiarity with computerised DAS/SCADA/monitoring systems, interconnection agreements, and data management
• Experience in energy or facilities asset management, encompassing utility-scale and distributed generation solar PV
• Proficiency in understanding financial models and assessing the operational impact on investments
• Ability to identify issues, analyse problems, evaluate alternatives, and develop sound conclusions
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, management, and collaborative skills
• Solid planning and organisational skills
