What you'll do:

As Mechanical Maintenance Execution Manager, you will be entrusted with orchestrating all aspects of mechanical maintenance across the plant.

• Develop comprehensive mechanical maintenance plans and programmes that ensure optimal reliability and availability of all plant equipment and facilities.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Machine and Fabrication Shop to guarantee its readiness in supporting ongoing plant requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address overdue or backlog works by aligning with established schedules and priorities.
• Implement mechanical improvements by studying current processes and introducing enhancements that boost efficiency and safety.
• Provide essential tools, including special equipment, to enable maintenance personnel to perform quality work safely and effectively.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal standards such as iCIF principles, IMS procedures, asset numbering systems, and validation of equipment criticality using risk matrices.
• Collaborate closely with Preventive Maintenance Managers to analyse findings from routine checks and develop actionable plans for corrective measures.
• Identify critical spare parts requirements, justify related expenses, manage inventory within centralised warehouses, and oversee PMR implementation for these spares.
• Directly manage mechanical supervisors and technicians by assigning workloads, monitoring performance, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring safe restoration of equipment status.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) at the plant level to develop targeted action plans for critical equipment.

What you bring:

To excel as Mechanical Maintenance Execution Manager, you will bring extensive hands-on experience from similar roles within large-scale industrial environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required for this position to ensure technical proficiency in all aspects of plant maintenance.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical execution within an industrial or manufacturing setting is essential for success in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams with empathy while fostering a collaborative environment focused on shared goals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment practices—including troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics—is vital for effective problem resolution.
• High level of safety awareness is necessary when overseeing heavy loads, hot works, energy isolation procedures, confined spaces, or working at heights.
• Proven track record in developing maintenance master schedules (annual SPS/13-week/daily plans) that align with operational targets.
• Experience implementing asset numbering systems (HAC/PCS), validating equipment criticality using risk matrices, and managing SAP-PM systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills are needed for conducting root cause analyses (RCA), FMEA studies, cost monitoring, budget preparation, and report generation.
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities are required for coordinating with multiple stakeholders across departments as well as external contractors.
• Commitment to continuous learning through identifying training needs within your team and evaluating programme effectiveness.
