About the Country Business Director (Fire Detection and Alarm System) Role: The Country Business Director (Fire Detection and Alarm System) will be responsible for developing and managing efficient sales and business development teams for the Fire Detection and Alarm System business unit of this specific company. The role is also responsible for shaping the strategic direction in ensuring the tools, skills, and expertise are in place to execute effectively to ensure your strategy becomes a reality. In this role, you will build and provide effective leadership for the team in a manner that is consistent with the company's values. Developing and implementing local customer strategies and marketing initiatives are key to success for this role.
Develop and implement strategy within agreed budget based on BU FIR regional strategy
Monitor and analyse sales and IM2 against budget and initiate appropriate action if needed
Develop and manage local customer and influencer portfolio and implement agreed channel strategy
Manage relationships with key customers and key influencers in the country
Define and implement price, discount and rebate schemes in line with BU guidelines for the territory
Support launch plan for product introduction in country
Provide feedback on market trends, customer/end-user needs and support collection of competitor information (portfolio as well as industries)
Support BU/MKR on proof reading management in respective country and languages
Increase sales for a dedicated vertical/country by creating demand and project leads through business development and early involvement with large end-users and major influencer groups
Develop, implement and follow-up on business development approach for key verticals
Generate, follow up and win project leads in country (cluster) and focus vertical
Present, discuss, adjust and follow-up on technical and commercial solutions with the end-user and all relevant parties
Plan and organise key influencer events; participate if required in trade shows, congresses and support PR
To be successful in this Country Business Director (Fire Detection and Alarm System) role, you must be able to sustainably grow business above market focusing on large distributor accounts, system integrator, specialised accounts and their needs and achieve budget. Support in developing channel strategy and ensure implementation is also key.
At least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
Must have leading sales and marketing in commercial and industrial market. With FDAS product experience is an advantage
Good presentation and communication skills. Can manage to work with different levels of stakeholders (internal and external)
Able to manage the business development, projects, and sales or account plan to achieve the target deployment and KPI steering
Excellent in negotiation to decision-maker environment
Highly flexible to work as a team player and, at the same time, work independently
Resourceful and with good networking skills
