Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dependable Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the development and implementation of effective company management strategies and policies.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage day-to-day operations, formulate company strategies, and nurture business relationships with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will report directly to the President, playing a crucial role in driving the organisation's success.

What you'll do:

As a Chief Operating Officer, your role will be pivotal in shaping the operational and financial future of our client's organisation. You will be entrusted with developing and implementing management strategies that align with the organisation's goals. Additionally, you will play a key role in designing foundation programs/projects that meet set targets. Your ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively will contribute significantly to the overall success of the organisation.

  • Develop and implement effective management strategies and policies for the organisation
  • Prepare and report on the organisation’s annual budget ensuring cost-effective practices
  • Manage monthly cash requirements and banking administration
  • Review and update investment policies in line with current financial trends
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with social investors of the organisation
  • Propose new social investor relationships upon approval
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement of policies for efficient operations
  • Develop strategies and policies on fundraising
  • Design fundraising programs/projects ensuring targets are achieved
  • Assist the President in stakeholder relationship management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the organisation
  • Review contracts, agreements for compliance with organisational policies

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Chief Operating Officer position brings a wealth of experience from a similar senior executive role. Your strong understanding of financial management strategies, coupled with your proven track record in fundraising, will be essential for this role. Your ability to develop effective operational policies will ensure smooth running of daily operations.   • Proven experience in a similar role as a Chief Operating Officer or senior executive position

  • Understanding of current financial trends affecting investment policies
  • Experience in designing successful fundraising programs/projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder communication
