This role involves overseeing all aspects of factory operations, from production planning and quality assurance to cost management and team leadership. What you'll do:
As the Factory General Manager for our client's production facility in Clark Pampanga, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of their business operations in the Philippines. Your expertise in operational leadership will be crucial in establishing efficient workflows that meet both quality and production targets. - Establish and lead daily operations at the new facility, managing production schedules, workflow, and resources to meet quality and production targets.
- Build and lead a skilled team, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting professional growth to drive high performance and morale.
- Develop production strategies to enhance efficiency and output, implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Set up and manage quality control systems to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards, driving continuous improvement in product quality.
- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Monitor production costs, budget adherence, and identify cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure optimal material flow, inventory management, and timely delivery of goods.
- Lead initiatives to scale up production capacity and support facility expansions, managing timelines, budgets, and team alignment.
- Act as the primary liaison between the factory and senior leadership, providing regular updates on key performance indicators, challenges, and growth opportunities.
What you bring:

Your educational background in Engineering or Industrial Management has equipped you with the technical knowledge necessary to excel in this role. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Management (Master’s degree preferred)
- 8-10 years of experience in a factory or production management role
- Proven expertise in scaling production operations
- Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations within manufacturing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and reporting to senior management
