An exciting opportunity awaits for an Environmental Social and Governance Manager to champion sustainability initiatives within a forward-thinking organisation based in Taguig.

What you'll do:

As an Environmental Social and Governance Manager, you will be entrusted with advancing the organisation’s commitment to sustainable development through strategic planning and hands-on project management.

  • Develop comprehensive sustainability strategies tailored to the organisation’s business objectives, ensuring relevance to both local regulations and global standards.
  • Conduct materiality studies by analysing data and translating findings into actionable business insights that inform decision-making processes.
  • Manage end-to-end sustainability projects from conception through execution, monitoring progress against established goals, targets, and key performance indicators.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into core business operations, processes, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Monitor the advancement of sustainability initiatives by tracking performance against defined KPIs and adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results.
  • Prepare detailed sustainability reports, disclosures, and surveys that meet the requirements of recognised reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, , TCFD, IFRS S1 and S2.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather accurate data for ESG reporting while ensuring integrity and reliability throughout the process.
  • Analyse industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging ESG issues to identify risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate actions for continuous improvement.
  • Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders—including employees, customers, investors, and community partners—to foster collaboration and address material sustainability concerns.
  • Support relationship-building efforts with external organisations, industry associations, and regulatory bodies relevant to sustainability initiatives.

What you bring:

Your background as an Environmental Social and Governance Manager will showcase extensive experience in designing and implementing sustainability programmes within large organisations or consultancies.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, environmental studies, social science or any discipline related to sustainable development; advanced degrees or professional certifications in sustainability or project management are highly regarded.
  • At least seven years’ experience working in a sustainability-related role within a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of major Sustainability Reporting frameworks including GRI, IIRC , SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1 & S2 as well as other relevant standards.
  • Proven track record as a project manager capable of executing complex strategies across multiple functions within an organisation.
  • Exceptional analytical skills supported by research-driven approaches that enable you to interpret data effectively and make informed recommendations.
  • Familiarity with methodologies for measuring environmental and social impacts along with practical experience in preparing transparent reports.
  • Outstanding communication abilities that facilitate clear business casing presentations as well as effective stakeholder engagement across diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within teams while nurturing strong relationships with external partners such as industry associations or regulatory bodies.
  • Experience integrating climate action plans or social impact strategies into broader organisational processes is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to continuous learning reflected by participation in training opportunities or professional development programmes.
