What you'll do:

As a Logistics Manager, your role will be crucial in moving life-changing cargo globally. You will be at the forefront of delivering excellent customer service while organising consignments for both domestic and international transport. Your ability to foster teamwork within a culture that values safety, innovation, and growth will be key to your success. Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of information across all operations will be part of your daily tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.

  • Coordinate domestic transport consignments ensuring timely and accurate organisation of shipments.
  • Oversee international air and ocean transport consignments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service addressing client needs with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all logistical processes including data entry and shipment documentation.
  • Foster a collaborative and safe working environment promoting teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain compliance with international and domestic transport regulations ensuring all shipments meet legal and company standards.
  • Monitor and manage shipment progress providing timely updates and solutions to any arising issues.
  • Support the development of process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Logistic Manager role brings along proficiency in CargoWise or similar documentation software along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for communication. You have related experience in freight forwarding/logistics with a focus on import/export operations. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to thrive in this role. You embrace challenges and mistakes as growth opportunities.

  • 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics with a focus on import/export operations.
  • Ability to embrace challenges and mistakes as growth opportunities demonstrating adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and professional client interactions.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CargoWise or similar documentation software is essential for efficient freight management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple shipments efficiently.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for effective communication.
