An exciting Medical Manager job opportunity has become available in a global healthcare company based in Taguig. This is a managerial position responsible for the conceptualisation, implementation and monitoring of the medical and scientific business support function for assigned disease/product clusters.

About the Medical Manager Role:
This business support function includes product development and management, key opinion leader development, networking with the medical community and societies, legal and regulatory defence of product (including Loss of Exclusivity initiatives), medical support for disease management/expanded access initiatives, clinical trial management, technical /disease expertise in the TAs, medical quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish engagement with external stakeholders such as medical/HCP societies, academic institutions and opinion leaders including government (DOH, FDA, policy makers, etc.) to bridge the company’s goals with the external healthcare environment
• Conduct advisory board meetings with different stakeholders as needed to gain insights for key strategic value adding programmes as needed
• Support the Country Medical Lead in the development, execution, review and evaluation of medical projects, external partnerships and track all medical projects
• Evaluate and recommend approval of medical projects and medical grants ensuring adherence to the company’s SOPs

To be successful in this Medical Manager role, you must have the ability to produce work product that is thorough and accurate and respond to changing needs of the business. Personally, you must identify and champion new ideas for improvement and growth.

Key Requirements:

• Medical degree and board certification
• Previous experience in medical affairs, clinical affairs, or regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry for a minimum of two years is preferred
