Our client is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead their Sourcing team at the Semiconductor Business Unit in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee projects related to BCP, new qualifications, and cost-saving initiatives across both direct and indirect material categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating material supply risks, presenting procurement performance, monitoring New Product Development (NPD) progress, and managing customer targets and delivery expectations.

What you'll do:
As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Sourcing team at our client's Semiconductor Business Unit. You will have the opportunity to manage a wide range of procurement activities including both direct and indirect material procurement. Your leadership skills will be crucial in developing the local procurement team while aligning their efforts with business objectives. You will also be responsible for managing New Transfer Projects (NPD), fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, driving work efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Oversee all procurement activities at the SBU Lipa site, managing both direct and indirect material procurement for the site.
- Lead and develop the local procurement team to ensure that material supply priorities are met in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the SBU Lipa NPD (New Transfer Projects) by collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of sampling materials, supplier sourcing/selection, price negotiations, and system creation.
- Provide regular status updates on all procurement projects to the site management team, Asia Region Sourcing Manager, SBU, and the SBU Global Sourcing Senior Director.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engagement and alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Quality, Planning, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop and implement BCP strategies.
- Drive improvements in work efficiency, ensuring full compliance with procurement policies and company procedures.
- Ensure that sourcing team members receive the necessary training and development to maintain high performance and standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of procurement experience.
- Strong experience in people management.
- Preferred knowledge of global sourcing for stamping, chemical, and metal parts materials.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint; excellent presentation skills are essential.
- Proven experience in working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
