What you'll do:
As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's supply chain operations. Your strong negotiation skills will be crucial in securing favourable terms with suppliers while maintaining quality standards. Additionally, you will identify potential supply chain risks and develop proactive measures to mitigate them. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new suppliers, both local and international
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier base to support manufacturing requirements
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet long-term goals
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions
- Identify potential supply chain risks and proactively develop contingency plans
- Ensure all sourced materials and products comply with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate supplier performance
