Our client is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead operations within their semiconductor manufacturing facility in Lipa City, Batangas. What you'll do:
As a Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's semiconductor manufacturing facility. Your role will be key in managing the daily operations of the warehouse including the receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials as well as finished products. You will work closely with procurement and production teams to align inventory levels with production demand. Your expertise in developing partnerships with carriers will help optimize shipping costs. Your leadership skills will be crucial in supervising, training, and motivating the warehouse staff.
- Manage daily operations of the warehouse overseeing receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure optimal layout and organization of warehouse space to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for all warehouse activities.
- Implement effective inventory management systems to achieve high accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure consistency between physical and system inventory levels.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align inventory levels with demand.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop partnerships with carriers to optimize shipping costs.
- Track logistics performance metrics to improve transit times and reduce costs.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff fostering a culture of accountability.
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager position, you bring a wealth of experience from your 5+ years in warehouse and logistics management. Your strong understanding of inventory control, logistics processes, coupled with your proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) sets you apart. You have hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Your proven leadership skills are evident through your past experiences in team building, coaching, and performance management. Your strong analytical skills and familiarity with lean manufacturing will be key in driving continuous improvement within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics processes, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and knowledge of best practices in supply chain management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team building, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong analytical skills with familiarity in lean manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
