Your main responsibility is to maintain a long term relationship with these institutions and maximise sales opportunities within them.
About the Account Manager - Health IT Role:
In this business-critical role, you will have direct engagement on existing key accounts and continuously identify prospective end user customers in the healthcare, medical and hospital organisation sector.
- Play an integral role in new business pitches and be responsible for the effective onboarding of new clients
- Develop and achieve sales through the direct sales channel
- Focus on growing and developing existing clients, as well as generating new business
- Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business
- Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
To succeed in this Account Manager - Health IT role, you will need to excel in customer management, product management and account management, as well as the provision of insights and updates.
- Proven track record of success in sales or solution selling as an account manager or territory sales person and display an attitude that is key to success
- Exposure to the healthcare or health IT industries or information technology
- Experience with strategic MOH organisationa, top medical schools, top private hospitals and complex organisations
- Strong account management and relationship building skills
- Experience managing major national accounts at head office level
- Highly self-motivated
