What you'll do:

- Maintain accurate records for both legal risk management and compliance functions, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for audits or regulatory reviews.
- Assist in organising, delivering, and monitoring compliance obligations across all levels of the organisation by coordinating with various departments to ensure timely completion of requirements.
- Conduct thorough research on regulatory websites, circulars, and issuances to keep the business informed of any changes or updates relevant to operations.
- Facilitate compliance testing and risk assessments by gathering data, preparing detailed reports, identifying gaps or areas for improvement, and recommending actionable solutions.
- Monitor tools such as the Compliance Tracker and Risk Registry to ensure real-time progress is accurately reflected on all action items related to compliance activities.
- Provide dedicated support to senior leadership in implementing effective control frameworks that address legal risk, compliance requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Track the completion of compliance-related action items by different business units, offering guidance when needed and escalating issues appropriately to maintain accountability.
- Support training initiatives by helping design, deliver, or monitor sessions that build awareness of compliance responsibilities throughout the organisation.
- Undertake additional responsibilities or ad hoc projects as assigned by executives, including providing legal or compliance assistance on urgent or strategic matters as they arise.

- Active membership of the Philippine Bar with strong legal credentials demonstrated by successful completion of the bar examination (Preferred not required)
- At least three years’ experience in compliance or risk roles within financial services, lending institutions, or other regulated industries where complex regulatory frameworks are navigated daily.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, integrity, and responsible business conduct throughout previous professional experiences.
- Dependable approach when handling sensitive information combined with discretion and prompt responsiveness to urgent requests from senior leadership.
- Experience conducting or supporting compliance testing and risk assessments with proven ability to identify issues quickly and recommend practical improvements.
- Familiarity with monitoring compliance trackers and risk registries while ensuring accuracy in reporting to stakeholders across the organisation.
- Proven capability in designing or delivering compliance training sessions that build awareness among colleagues while reinforcing accountability at every level.
- Strong organisational skills paired with excellent time management abilities enabling you to balance multiple priorities without compromising accuracy in record-keeping.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you to communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds as well as regulators and external partners.
