The successful candidate will be entrusted with the preparation and organisation of legal documents for cases and trials, liaising with the company’s legal advisors, and reviewing essential contracts, affidavits, correspondences, and corporate documentation as part of the daily operations.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Paralegal in our client's team, you will play an integral role by preparing and organising legal documents for cases and trials. You will collaborate closely with the company's legal advisors while also preparing and reviewing necessary contracts, affidavits, correspondences, corporate documentation as part of the day-to-day operations. Your ability to manage case calendars effectively while ensuring all documents are accurate and compliant with applicable laws will be key to your success in this role.

  • Assist with trial preparation, including comprehensive document review and organization.
  • Conduct detailed legal research using online databases, law libraries, and other resources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to gather and relay essential information.
  • Ensure all legal documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations through meticulous review and editing.
  • Liaise proactively with attorneys, clients, and relevant parties to support case management and progress.
  • Maintain and organize files, documents, and records meticulously to ensure easy access and proper documentation.
  • Manage case calendars, deadlines, and schedules efficiently to ensure timely compliance with legal requirements.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying with diligence and accuracy, supporting overall office functionality.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Paralegal position is someone who brings strong analytical skills coupled with effective communication abilities. Your excellent organisational skills will be put to good use in managing case calendars and coordinating with various stakeholders. A keen attention to detail is required when preparing and reviewing legal documents. Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology is essential for this role. With 7-10 years of experience as a paralegal under your belt, you are ready to take on this rewarding role.

  • 7-10 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the Real Estate, Construction, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret legal documents and information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with attorneys, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including managing case files, calendars, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring that all legal documents and information are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations.
  • Solid understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and relevant industry-specific regulations.
  • Expertise in case management, document preparation, review, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in all legal documentation.
  • Proven experience in assisting with litigation trial preparation, including document review, research, and organization, with a strong understanding of compliance and risk management.
