About the Business Development Manager (Construction) Role:
As the Business Development Manager (Construction), you will be responsible for bringing in new clients and win construction projects for this international construction company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business development plan and strategy
- Land/soil assessment for stabilisation and ground improvement
- Network and connect with top developers, contractors, consultants, engineers, etc.
- Sales forecast and performance
- Bidding and negotiation
- Contract management
To succeed in this Business Development Manager (Construction) role, you will need to have strong experience doing bidding, negotiation and contract management for construction industry. Strong network and connection with top developers is an advantage.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in civil engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably from a contractor or sub-contractor industry
- Experience in land and soil assessment - stabilisation and ground improvement, quantity surveying and other horizontal projects
- Experience in a commercial/sales role including cost estimation, offer preparation and negotiation with clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter, goal-driven and competitive
