About the Business Development Manager (Water Treatment) Role:
As the Business Development Manager (Water Treatment), you will be responsible for bringing in new clients and creating business with existing clients for this multinational chemical company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development processes for wastewater treatment across SEA
• Spend time on new business acquisitions, planning and strategy
• Deliver advanced technical support and training to clients from the food and beverage sector
• Work closely with the sales team and ensure they are properly trained and aware of business innovations, new projects, products and applications
• Perform technical presentations and plant audits related to chemical usage and applications
• Support F&B SEA sales teams in solving water treatment issues

To succeed in this Business Development Manager (Water Treatment) role, you will need to have strong experience and knowledge in water treatment as well as strong network/connection across the food and beverage industry.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required (science, chemistry, engineering, chemistry, etc.) A certified water technologist preferably
• At least five years of experience in the water treatment chemical sales industry
• Experience in land and soil assessment - stabilisation and ground improvement, quantity surveying and other horizontal projects
• Experience in a commercial/sales role including cost estimation, offer preparation and negotiation with clients
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter, goal-driven and competitive
