About the Business Development Director (MedTech) Role:
The primary objective of the role is to expand the MedTech business by identifying and launching new therapeutic capabilities and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the MedTech business in terms of annual sales and new therapeutic areas under medical device/ consumables
- Lead all new business development activities within the Medtech group
- Develop an effective partnership with the Regional Business Development Director
- Demonstrate commitment to the company’s mission, vision and core values
To succeed in this Business Development Director (MedTech) role, you will need a strong KOL networks with the medical technology industry.
Key Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in a range of therapeutic areas
- Intellect and gravitas to be able to credibly engage KOLs and other stakeholders in new therapeutic areas
- Experience with negotiating distribution agreements and commercially savvy
- Effective communicator with experience of pipeline management methodologies
