About the Country Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, and manage a team of inside and field sales managers. You will expand the footprint of their business in the Philippines, and be the spokesperson at events to increase brand exposure.
- Responsible for profitability and efficient running of the business
- Develop and manage the sales activities including strategic account management, client relationship management, lead generation, opportunity identification (essentially focusing on securing new business and build on existing relationships)
- Formulate strategic initiatives to expand market share and support business expansion by identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts with clients to achieve better business outcomes
- Handle operations and development programs
- Hire and develop good quality staff at all levels
- Deliver internal training
To succeed in this Country Manager job, you will ideally have a wealth of sales management experience within a software sales (SaaS) environment.
- A minimum of 15 years' sales management experience, with demonstrated ability of managing sales teams of 10 people or more
- Experience in selling online/technology products on a subscription based model
- Philippines market knowledge – preferably with strong relationships with senior level stakeholders across various industries
- Experience in building high performing teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
